Darren Yeo, President & CEO

Mr. Darren Yeo joined Swiber in 2003 and was appointed to the Board in November 2004. With more than 15 years of industry experience under his belt, Mr. Yeo is currently the President and CEO of Newcruz Offshore Marine Services and is responsible for the management and development of the Group’s offshore marine support business operations. He is also an Alternate Director to Mr. Francis Wong for Kreuz Holdings Limited. Mr. Yeo graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1993 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He later obtained a diploma in Marketing from the Singapore Institute of Management in 1995.

Hendrik Eddy Purnomo, VP Indonesia

Capt. Hendrik Eddy Purnomo heads the offshore marine services division of the Indonesia office as VP. He joined Swiber in 1996 as President Director of the Indonesian subsidiary, PT Swiber Berjaya. He brings with him over 20 years experience in the management and operations of marine vessels in Indonesia and the handling of maritime disputes as well as experience in the local shipping law. Capt. Purnomo graduated from the Indonesia Merchant Marine Academy in 1979 as a qualified mate of ocean-going and mate of anchor handling tug supply boats. In addition, he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, a Member of the Western Australian Institute of Dispute Management, Murdoch University law school, and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management, UK.

Roy Yap, GM Operations

Mr. Roy Yap began his career in Swiber in November 2007 and has risen within the ranks to become the GM for Operations of the offshore marine services division of the Group. Mr. Yap is responsible for managing and leading the offshore marine supportrelated operations of Swiber. Prior to joining the Group, he had led operations and HSE units of other marine and offshore services companies, where he had successfully implemented operations and safety systems. A graduate in Nautical studies, Mr. Yap is also a qualified Internal Quality Auditor, Company Security Officer, and ISM Internal Auditor.

Alok Gupta, GM India Marine Operations

Mr. Alok Gupta joined Swiber in 2005 as Operations Manager for India and was appointed to the role of GM for India Marine Operations in 2011. Mr. Gupta also oversees the HR and Administration functions of the India office. Prior to joining Swiber, he has 20 years of rich experience in logistics, project management & execution. Mr. Gupta graduated from Bangalore University in 1991 with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Diploma in Business Administration.
