Nitish Gupta, CEO

Mr. Nitish Gupta joined Swiber in 2006 as the EVP of the Swiber Offshore Construction Services and was appointed CEO of the unit in 2008. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in March 2009. Having worked for a number of established offshore oil and gas construction companies since 1992, Mr. Gupta has extensive industry experience in India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Gupta graduated from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University in India with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering (Honours).

 

Sanjay Anand, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Sanjay Anand is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the offshore construction services division. He joined Swiber in September 2010 as VP for Projects and Project Services. Mr. Anand is responsible for the overall management of the following project functions; Project Management, Project Controls including Cost Control, Planning and Document Control; Procurement; Subcontracts; and Contract Administration. Mr. Anand brings to Swiber over twenty-nine years overall experience in project management, design engineering, onshore/offshore construction, cost engineering, contract administration, proposals and estimating. Mr. Anand graduated from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University in India with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering in the year 1981.

 

Stephen Church, VP Fleet Management and Yard Services

Mr. Stephen Church joined Swiber in March 2007 and has risen within the ranks to become VP for Fleet Management and Yard Services. He has over 30 years of industry experience, covering all facets of the offshore construction field, including subsea pipe laying, riser setting, jacket and deck installation, rig moves, heavy lifts, SBM installation and maintenance, topside maintenance and hook-up. Mr. Church is a graduate of University of Otago, New Zealand with Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Accounting.

 

Joseph Chen, VP Brunei

Mr. Joseph Chen joined Swiber in 2007 to spearhead operations in Brunei Darussalam and drive the Group’s expansion, strategic alliances and activities in the Asia Pacific. With over 30 years of management experience, he has held various senior administration and business management positions in the oil and gas related construction industry in Brunei. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree, University of Southern Cross, Australia (Best Graduate) and a Business Diploma in Industrial Administration, School of Accountancy and Business Studies, UK.

 

K G Remesh, VP India

Mr. K G Remesh joined Swiber in 2008 as VP for India operations. He is an Honours graduate in Engineering from NIIT Calicut India. Mr. Remesh brings with him over 30 years of rich experience as a chief engineer, engineering manager, and in project management, business development and contracting in the offshore and onshore oil and gas fields. He has held several important positions in different organisations in upstream oil and gas fields including engineering manager, proposal manager, project manager, and project director. His areas of expertise include EPIC projects involving jackets / decks and subsea flexible and rigid pipe lines.

 

Tajmul Hussain, VP Middle East

Mr. Tajmul Hussain joined Swiber in 2009 as VP for Middle East. He oversees all projects in the Middle East, and is responsible for business development for the area. Mr. Hussain has over 30 years of extensive work experience in the Middle East, Russia & the CIS and India, having held various posts in oil and gas and engineering companies with operations in those regions. Mr. Hussain graduated from Madras University, India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Production Management from the same University.

 

Kedar Lagvankar, GM Project Offshore Operations

Mr. Kedar Lagvankar joined Swiber in November 2010 as General Manager (GM) for Offshore Operations for Swiber Offshore Construction. Mr. Lagvankar is responsible for the support of field operations and projects. Mr. Lagvankar brings to Swiber over twenty-one years of offshore construction and marine experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Lagvankar graduated from New Delhi College of Engineering, India with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering in 1987 and is a post graduate of Construction Management in School of Planning in New Delhi, India.
