Newcruz Capabilites and Solutions
Newcruz invests in the best experts in the industry and operates a large and comprehensive fleet of offshore marine support vessels which include anchor handling tugs with supply capabilities (AHT/AHTS), towing tugs, diving support vessels (DSVs), accommodation barges, submersible barges, launch barges and transport cargo barges.
We also own and operate saturated diving systems and have our own marine base and shipyard in Singapore. What began as a shipbuilding and shipyard business has transformed into today's leading integrated offshore diving, design engineering and marine support solutions provider to the oil and gas industry.

- Shipbuilding and Engineering
Newcruz Shipyard & Marine Base is a 2.4 hectare shipyard situated in Tuas Basin, Singapore, with an experienced management team and workforce of approximately 250 people. The 124 meter water frontage shipyard comprises a two-storey main building and a single storey workshop with a three-storey office annex. The facilities of the shipyard also include slipways, wharves and work yards.
The shipyard primarily serves as a marine base to support the repair and maintenance ("R&M") work for Swiber's growing fleet of marine support and construction vessels. At the same time, the site will also be utilised as a base for the conversion and construction of vessels.
Having control over our own marine base insures our vessels against any possible downtime while improving logistical efficiency. All these translate into greater control over project coordination.
- Marine Support Services
Our vessels transport equipment, materials and supplies to support the oil and gas construction industry, including the transport of pipes, offshore structures, jackets and
platforms, handle anchors for construction barges, move and position drilling rigs and assists in maintaining and safeguarding offshore facilities.
We have plans to significantly grow our fleet size to capitalise on the business opportunities in this bullish exploration and production market, where demand for marine support vessels exceeds supply. Our plans to build more offshore marine vessels using innovative designs and the latest technology will further strengthen our service capability in the market.
- Engineering Services
A joint venture between Newcruz International Pte Ltd and Principia of France was formed to undertake the supply and sale of studies, design of offshore and marine facilities, as well as related services in the offshore and marine industry, in South East Asia. Furthermore, this partnership will enable the company to offer world-class engineering design and analysis services to the offshore oil and gas industry in the Asia Pacific region.
With an engineering house in Newcruz International's office in Singapore, this detailed design engineering capability will further enhance our business, providing vertical integration with all of our other services, affording a one-stop solution for clients.
