In terms of market development, we have set up offices in India, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Middle East to increase our presence in these countries. Moreover, we have also entered into various collaboration agreements and MOUs in Vietnam, Brunei, Thailand, Malaysia and the Middle East.
Looking ahead, we will continue to explore strategic alliances throughout the Asia Pacific, the Middle Eastern and South American regions, as part of our strategy to increase our presence geographically.

Kreuz Shipbuilding and Engineering: Shipbuilding, design and engineering Capabilities
In September of 2007, Swiber acquired a 2.4 hectare shipyard located in Tuas Crescent, Singapore and renamed it as Kreuz Shipbuilding and Engineering. The 124m water frontage shipyard includes: a two-storey main building, a single-storey workshop, a three-storey office, a slipway, a wharf and working yard. An experienced management team and workforce operate it.
Principia Asia Pacific: Engineering Services
Swiber formed a 50-50% joint venture partnership between Kreuz and Principia Recherche & Development SA in February 2008 for the supply and sale of studies, design of offshore and marine facilities and related services in the offshore and marine industry in South East Asia. With an engineering office set-up in Singapore, the Group is targeting 100 engineers in-house by 2009.
